Emergency water removal is the first call you make when water is actively sitting in your home or business – a burst pipe, appliance failure, storm flooding, or sewer backup that needs to come out right now, not tomorrow. The longer water sits, the more it soaks into flooring, walls, and belongings, so speed is the whole point of this service.
Property owners in Rochester, NY call us when they're standing in water and don't know what to do next – basements filling up during heavy rain, a washing machine hose that let go overnight, or a water heater that failed while nobody was home. This is almost always an active, in-progress situation, not something that can wait for a scheduled appointment.
We show up with truck-mounted extraction equipment that pulls standing water out fast, far more effective than shop vacuums or mops. Once the bulk of the water is gone, we assess what got wet and how deep the saturation goes, since that determines what happens next – drying in place versus removing material that's too far gone to save. Air movers and dehumidifiers go in immediately to start pulling moisture out of anything left behind.
Cost depends on how much water was involved, how large an area it covered, and how long it sat before we got the call – the faster we're contacted, the less material typically needs to be removed and replaced.
If water is sitting in your Rochester, NY property right now, don't wait on it. Call (507) 853-2142 and we'll get someone out fast.
